INTRODUCTON

Chairman Casey Lowery called the meeting to order at 08:30. 

·         In recognition as a former Chairman of HSAC, Casey Lowery presented Mr. David P. Milling with a plaque for his contribution to the Conference.

·         Richard Landrum, former HSAC Chairman, could not attend.

·         In recognition of their companies’ support of HSAC, Chairman Lowery presented plaques to Bell Helicopter (Bill Maddox), Sikorsky (John Sartor), and Eurocopter (photo unavailable).

Old Business: 

         Use 123.025 when operating offshore locally in the field.

 New Business:

         The two-year terms for the Chairman and the Treasurer will expire at the end of 2007.

         The only candidate nominated for the office of Chairman is Mark Fontenot.

         The only candidate nominated for the office of Treasurer is Joe Gross.

         The names of nominees for either office should be forwarded by e-mail to Ron Domingue, Secretary HSAC, no later than July 31, 2007.  Email is rdomingue@phihelico.com.

         A ballot will be sent by the Secretary via e-mail to all Regular Members at the being of August asking for your vote.  The votes will be tallied at the next General Meeting.

 

 The next meeting of the Helicopter Safety Advisory Conference will be on September 19th and 20th, 2007 at the Sheraton Hotel on JFK Blvd at George Bush International Airport in Houston, TX.
